Andrés Burbano

Andres Burbano is a media artist and scholar with a Ph.D. in Media Arts and Technology from the University of California Santa Barbara. He has developed an academic career at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and is currently a professor at the Open University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. In addition, Burbano was the ACM SIGGRAPH 2024 chair.
